camp Schedule 

Week 1: Team Building and Moving and Grooving 

 

We kick the summer off with an emphasis on building connections, ice breaker games and meeting new friends. Campers will move and groove with their new friends this week learning line dances along with dances from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and more! We will stay fun and fit with kids style Zumba.

 

Week 2: Getting Dirty

 

Summer is about getting dirty and messy! This week will be gardening, digging for treasures in the mud and lots of dirt, goop and messy filled fun!

 

Week 3: Celebration of Nations 

 

All aboard the travel train as we travel the country learning about different cultures and nations. Kids will make their own passport and get them stamped. We will learn dances, sports, music, crafts and celebrate with cultural specific events. Join us as well as travel from Italy, Mexico, China, Japan, and Egypt. 

 

Week 4: Under the Sea and Animal Planet

 

Mermaids, shells, fish, whales, and did we mention Sharks abound as we explore life under the sea. Craft projects, storytelling, and friendly competitions. Of course, no Under the Sea week would be complete without some wet, wacky, water games. After we learn about life in the Ocean we will move to Animal Planet. Look out for the furry, the feathered, and fantastic this week. Campers will enjoy hands-on experience enhanced with projects and activities that explore the animal kingdom. 

 

 

Week 5: Under the Stars! 

 

Celebrate our Nations Birthday with games like tug of war, relay racing, watermelon eating contest on teams of Red, White, and Blue! We will dig for gold, and learn about the Goldrush, and of course water play. We will end the week with a surprise for campers. 

 

Week 6: Imaginarium 

 

Unleash your inner creativity, as we discover art, engineering, and inventions through the exploration of different techniques and mediums, as well learn about the different inventors. Campers will build a marshmallow architectural building, build robots, have an ice building contest. 

 

Week 7: It’s all about Service! 

 

Julia Alvarez once said, “ The point is not to pay back kindness, but to pass it on”. Individually and as a group campers will set goals for good deeds that they will do for others. Campers will have the opportunity to create crafty gifts for those in need. 

 

 

Week 8: Artful Antics 

 

Campers will get messy expressing themselves through art. Campers will create outdoor art and learn how unique items come together to make super cool art! Dust off your refrigerators, your artist will come home with some pieces worth displaying this week. 

 

 

Week 9: It’s a party in the U.S.A. 

 

Campers will travel the United States from the West Coast to the East Coast learning about Hollywood, and NYC Fashion Week! We will end the week in Hawaii as we celebrate the end of Summer camp with a Hawaiian Hullabaloo, Campers will make colorful leis, create surfboards, learn how to belly dance and of course how low can you go with the limbo stick!
